Redditch Worcestershire

Redditch was the home of Alice Maud Bradshaw, mother of Evelyn Blanche Barnard. Alice Maud (nicknamed 'Peggy') was born in Redditch on 24th November, 1885 and after coming to Canada married James William Barnard in London, Ontario.

Her parents were Caleb Joseph Bradshaw and Sarah Melvina Bennett. Caleb was a needle factory foreman in Reditch, where he too was born.
