Vivienne Jane Bungay
Vivienne Bungay was the wife of Charles William Clarcke. They were the parents of Eric Clark, father of Erica Nicole (Clark) Kenny. Family history has the Bungay family as being from Rose Blanche, Newfoundland. Vivienne was 16 in the 1935 NF Census, which actually shows the family as living in the South Coast Region - at Cape Ray, in the Burgeo District. A brother, Eric Bungay, is age 1 in that census. Vivienne, born circa 1920, died on the 20th of February, 1999 and was buried in North Sydney, Nova Scota - (from an obituary in the Halifax-Chronicle - age 79. (CLARK, Vivienne J "Viv" (BUNGAY); 79; North Sydney NS; Chron-Herald; 1999-2-20; kbutler) Vivienne and her husband, Charles Clarcke, lived on Pierce Street in North Sydney. They were married on the 18th of February (- before 1920 - year?), which was the same date as her death (and the same date of the wedding of her son Eric Clark and daughter-in-law Mary Evoy.) Both Vivienne and her husband, Charles William Clarcke, are buried in North Sydney, NS, in the Lakeside Cemetery on Johnston Road. Vivienne's parents were Alexander (Alec) Bungay and Flora Hatcher Bungay, of Rose Blanche, Newfoundland. |
