Bungay Family
The Bungay family lived in Rose Blanche, in the Burgeo District (see map) - of southwest Newfoundland. (For a description of Rose Blanche, click here.) Vivienne J. Bungay was the wife of Charles William Clarcke. They were the parents of Eric Clark, who was in turn the father of Erica Nicole (Clark) Kenny. Charles and Vivienne (Bungay) Clarcke lived on Pierce Street in North Sydney. They were married on the 18th of February, which was the same date as her death in 1920 (and the same date of the wedding of her son Eric Clark and daughter-in-law Mary Evoy.) Both Vivienne and Charles husband are buried in North Sydney, NS, in the Lakeside Cemetery..Vivienne's parents were Alexander Bungay and Flora Hatcher, of Rose Blanche, Newfoundland. They moved to North Sydney, Cape Breton County, Nova Scotia. |
