John Clarck
John Clarck, brother of Nelson Clarck, was the son of John Clarck and Maria Sanders. He was born in 1825. He married (see note below) Charlotte Dunty (or Denty - Oct 22, 1849) on the island of Oderin, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland.

Isaac Clarck - born 1852. He married Maria Louise Boisgiroux and had a daughter Maria (1883 - 1973). Maria married Jean Gilbert Castaing (the son of Pierre Castaing and Catherine Estoile). They had a son, Norbert Castaing.
Maria Sanders Clarck - born in 1862 and married to Alfred Emile Briand. They had a child - Maria.

Oderin, a resettled fishing community, was located on Oderin Island in western Placentia Bay, about 30 km northeast of Marystown. Oderin Island is horseshoe-shaped with its mouth facing west. It has a natural harbour. The community was resettled in 1966 with the families relocated to Rushoon, Parker's Cove, Burin and St. John's.
