There is a story that there was a family upset and a young boy/girl killed during an uprising. William should have taken the message but a younger child offered instead as William refused. Henry Ferris more or less accounted for all the boys, but why two Elizabeths? (Could this story account for an older child who was killed?) Henry Ferris could have mixed up the two families when searching the registers.

Elizabeth was married to her cousin William Willoughby in Dublin, February 1873 (he was the son of William Willoughby and Eliza Maude, farmers of Kilmurry, near Gorey) and the couple came out on the same ship as Elizabeth's family.
