Jonathan Gatenby

Jonathan Gatenby, son of Mary Pennock and William Gatenby, was born 5th of June, 1818 in Egton, North Riding of Yorkshire. He died between 1861 and 1871. He married Ann Wright (born 1816, Egton) on the 15th of December, 1841, Whitby). She was the daughter of Joseph Wright. She died in September of 1894 in Co. Durham, NRY. In the 1851 census, Jonathan is living at Lr East Street. He was a mariner. In the 1881 census, Ann had her grand-daughter, Jane Evans, living with her - residing at 7 Robinsons Buildings.
