Alice Annie Green (1890 - 1976)

Annie Green was the husband of Gordon Barber (1889 - 1967). Her parents were James Green and Ann Elizabeth (nee Wilson).

Annie was born in Cowesby, North Riding of Yorkshire, England, 24 November, 1890. She was christened there in 1890. In a 1901 British Census, when the family was living at Welburn Lane Farm, Huttons Ambo - 'Alice Green' is aged 10, born Cowesby, Yorks, Civil Parish of Huttons Ambo (entire)."

When her family came to Canada, in 1906, they lived, first, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. While there, Annie worked at the Timothy Eaton Company.

Annie Green and Gordon Barber were married in Guelph, ON, 11 September, 1914.

She died 22 November, 1976, in Burlington, ON, and is buried in the James Potter-Mary Willoughby plot at the East Plains United Church, (Aldershot) Burlington, ON.
