John Donahue

John Donahue was born in 1835 in England, Canada (age 46 in 1881 Census). He was of Irish background. He was the son of George Donahue and Elizabeth Unknown).

John married Arminie Jane Unknown (b in Ontario ca 1845). As per a reference to John Alexander Donahue - his nephew and son of John's brother James, the families may have come together to Canada from Co. Antrim, Ireland, in 1870. They resided in Madoc, Hastings Co., Ontario.

There is a death of a John Donahue - 5 February 1874 (35 years), Roman Catholic, butcher; b. Ireland; died of an accident ('caused by coupling cars').
