Harland Moor North Riding of Yorkshire

Harland Moor is just north of Gillamoor, and it divides Bransdale and Farndale. The ruins of 'White House' may be found here, which was in the early last century the home of one of the Green families. Here there are many green covered tailings of ancient coal mines - as at Rudland Moor. Rudland Rigg road is just to the west of Harland Moor and it proceeds north along the ridge separating East Bransdale and West Farndale.
