Minchinhampton

Minchinhampton is an ancient market town, located on a hilltop 4 miles (6.4 km) south-south-east of Stroud, Gloucestershire, England, in the Cotswolds. There are two churches in Minchinhampton – Holy Trinity (Anglican) and Minchinhampton Baptist Church. The spire of the parish church of the Holy Trinity was pulled down for safety reasons in 1863 and now the stub has been completed with a "coronet" structure.

It has space for parking 2/3 Cars Local amenities include a Post Office - General store, 2 Pub restaurants within walking distance., and is but a mile or so from the extensive facilities of Stroud, and Nailsworth This Three double Bedroom Cottage will sleep 6 persons and has an en suite Shower-room WC and a general bath,/shower/WC room.

Little End offers 1 double bedroom, 2 twin rooms, 2 bathrooms, large lounge and dining area with oak beams and original country features, large kitchen with duel fuel double oven. Little End is in the hamlet of St. Chloe facing the green to the NW of Amberley village itself. If you are approaching from Stroud take the A 46 to Bath. At the village of Woodchester the road forks left up Culver Hill signposted Minchinhampton, and Amberley, and immediately after crossing the cattle grid, turn left signposted St Chloe and proceed up the hill.

When the sign reads St Chloe-Littleworth take this fork and then left again to a road signed unsuitable for heavy vehicles the cottage is the last one, approx 100 yards on the right. Coming from Bath on the A46 towards Stroud turn right at Woodchester and proceed up Culver Hill as above.

If approaching from the M4. Take the A 419 after junction 15, Along the A 419, bypass Cirencester to STROUD, when reaching an airfield on your left in about 4 miles, turn left signed MOD Aston Down-Minchinhampton, proceed on over Rodborough Common and straight on for about 3 miles until The Bear at Rodborough country Pub, Turn sharp left and left again behind the Pub, Drive along the back road area and when reaching St Chloe Green turn right into the lane marked unsuitable for heavy vehicles and
