Samuel Williams

Samuel Williams was born in England and came to Canada with his brother, John, settling at Woody Island, Newfoundland. Samuel married Mary (last name unknown). They had at least two children (as per Burin Births and Bapt. Records 1826 - 1891 Belleoram - Church of England: Samuel and Mary, Wood Island):

Charlotte - born 25 September 1831, Woody Island

Thomas - born 4 August 1833, Woody Island

Family tradition - Two Williams brothers from England, settled at Woody Island about 1845; one of the brothers (that would be John) moved to Pools Cove (Fortune Bay).
