Richard Roberts

Richard Roberts and Jane Unknown were the parents of Francis Roberts. Both were born 18th December, 1830 in Bally Maden, Ireland.

Note: I cannot yet find a Bally Maden in Ireland, though there are several references to a Bally Madden in England.

Bally is Irish for 'town' and the Census for Francis clearly states that Francis was born in Ireland, and I assume so was his father.
