Frank Handler

Frank (Franz) Handler was born on the 9th of February 1928 in Windisschdorf 24, Gottschee, Slovenia. He was christened on the 12th of February 1928 in Mitterdorf Parish, Gottschee.

His parents were Johann Handler (born 20 July 1893, Windischdorf, Austria - died 23 July 1930, Windischdorf) and Josefa Zupancic (born 17th January 1897, Windischdorf - died 4 November 1986, Toronto, Ontario). They were married 19 May 1924 in Mitterdorf Parish, Gottschee, Slovenia.

Frank was the second husband of Mary Skalin (Skaljin). They adopted Kenneth Wayne Handler from Mary's first marriage to Joseph Poternak, along with another son from that marriage. Both boys received the name Handler upon adoption.

Frank (Franz) Handler died after July 1994 in West Hill, Scarborough, Ontario.
