Mary Skalin
Mary Skalin (Marjia Skaljin) was born 27 May 1927 in Mrzljaki, Croatia. She was the daughter of George Skalin and Sophia Unknown. With her parents, Mary immigrated to Canada in the Summer of 1929. She married 1. Joseph Poternak, who was born in Saskatchewan, Canada, and 2. Frank Handler.
Mary died 27 February, 2011.
Mary had two sons with Joseph Poternak. Following her marriage to Frank Handler, the two children were adopted, thereby receiving the name, 'Handler.'
