Glaisdale Yorkshire

The village of Glaisdale is west of Egton and east of Danby, in the northern part of the Moors, in the North Riding of Yorkshire. The Hoggarth family is from this area.

Elizabeth Pennock who had married John Link lived with him until his early death at Rake Farm, just north of the village. She farmed as a single woman for the rest of her long life.
