Annie Jane Buckett was born ca 1856, Ningwood, parish of Shalfleet on the Isle of Wight. She was the daughter of George Buckett and Ann Brett. She married Edwin Smith on the 3rd of August, 1875. Their children Ethelbert, Jennet, Edward and Maud were born there, though Sabina and George were born at Northwood, IOW.
