Nicholsville was founded by George Aaron Nichols Sr.) grandfather of Dorothy Nichols who married Thomas Evoy).

It is at the mouth of the Humber River. It has now been incorporated into the town of Deer Lake, NL - as part of the Burgeo District.

Nicholsville Cemetery - The Nichols Family cemetery nestled in a small woodland area on Nichols farm land. This is the final resting place of George Aaron Nichols (founder of Nicholsville) and his descendents. Access is located between #37 and #43 Goose Arm Road, Nicholsville, Newfoundland.
