Joseph Briand
Joseph Briand, son of Joseph Briand and Jeanne Marechal (or 'Marshall'), was born 11 February 1768 at Miquelon (St. Pierre & Miquelon) and died 2 March 1849, at Miquelon.
He married Genevieve Gracieuse Girardin on 19th November 1792. She was born 10 June 1770 (Miquelon) and died there, 2 April 1829.

Louis Briand (b. 17 February 1799, La Rochelle, Charente-Maritime, France) - married Marie Coste (b. 27 March 1805, Ingouville, Seine-Maritime, France (daughter of Jean Coste and Marie Rose Vigneau).
Julie Briand (b. 29 September 1800, La Rochelle) - married Pierre Lucas (b. 10 June 1797, Blaye, Girone, France - d. 7 Feb. 1867, Miquelon).
Pierre Briand (b. 22 May 1802, La Rochelle) - married Elizabeth Lucie Boudrot (b. 20 April 1809, Iles de la Madelaine, Canada).
