James Beck

James Beck (born ca 1849), of St. Lawrence, Newfoundland, died 18 October, 1897. James married Susan Unknown. They were the parents of Cyrus Beck (1878 - 1912).

He drowned during the wreck of the boat, 'Contest' - aged 48.
