Jonathan Albert Barber was born in Managua, Nicaragua, Central Americ. He married Dawn Hurlburt and they make their home in Alabama.

Jonathan is a grad of Bryan College, Chattanooga, TN, and Dallas Theological Seminary in Texas and has worked with State Farm Insurance.

Dawn and Jonathan. have three children: Nathan - born in Chattanooga, Jennifer - born in Dallas and Carrie - born in Oklahoma City.

Tragically, Dawn's parents were killed in the collapse of the US Federal buildings, in the Oklahoma bombing of 1995 perpetrated by Timothy McVeigh.
