John Oakes

John Oakes was born about 1700, perhaps in Yaxley, Suffolk. His wife was Mary, also born about that time. Their children were:

1. Robert Oakes - christened 18 September, 1734, at Yaxley, Suffolk. He married Mary Mounser, 30 May, 1757, probably at Yaxley.

2. Richard Oakes - christened 3 July, 1737, at Yaxley, Suffolk. He married Elizabeth Mounser, at Yaxley in 1776. (My line of descent)
