The three Modbury surgeons are all related They are of the family of William LANGWORTHY who married Honour (or Honora) WARREN of Ermington 27 Mar 1765. That William was probably born in South Brent. "Galloping Street" is amusing, as it is Galpin Street in the 1851 census.
There are over 180 LANGWORTHYs in Devon (mostly South Devon) in the 1851 Census (11 in Sherford and 6 in South Brent, but 18 in Blackawton and 11 in East Allington, and so on), so the surname isn't much evidence of a recent connection with Sherford. Modburyis about 9 miles WNW of Sherford. Edward Riley LANGWORTHY was baptised in London, so, again, there's no immediate Devon link.
