This
is the last Will and Testament of me Patrick Jeffers of 11 New Street Linacre
near Liverpool in the County of Lancaster (Lancashire) Cow Keeper I appoint
Thomas M Wills of Merton Road Bootle Surgeon executor hereof I bequeath to
my Wife my business of a Cow Keeper and the Goodwill Stock and utensils thereof
I bequeath to my son John the sum of Thirty Five pounds to be paid to him
as soon as convenient after my death I leave the remainder of my property
upon trust to pay the income thereof to my Wife during her life or so long
as she shall remain my widow and from and after her death or second marriage
whichever shall first happen I leave the same property to and amongst my children
(except Mary who is otherwise provided for) equally and I direct and declare
that in making the foregoing provision for my Wife it is my desire that the
moneys to be accrued by her shall be applied to the maintenance of her household
and for no other purpose other than her own personal use and I revoke all
former Wills by me at any time made In Witness whence I have hereinto set
my hand this sixth day of July 1883.

Cow Keeper deceased who died on the 19th July 1883 at New Street aforesaid
was granted to Sarah Jeffers Widow the Relict of the deceased the Residency
Legatee for life if she remain a widow named in the said Will she having been
first sworn Thomas Manns Wills the sole Executor named in the said Will having
concurred the probate and Executor thereof.
