Mashinter Family

Peter Blackmere, son of Annie Frances (Barber) and Donald Blackmere, married Carol Mashinter. Carol, a retired teacher, is the daughter of Lorne Mashinter and Ruth McCauley and has siblings: Lorna (deceased; 13 days old), David (Sharon), Brian (Sheri) and Keith.

Lorne Mashinter was the son of Leonard Ellerby Mashinter (born 6 November 1886) and Bertha Piercy who resided in Macville and then, Caledon East, Ontario. Lorne died 7 February 2003. Other children of Leonard and Bertha were Kenneth, Evelyn, Bruce and Orval.

Parents of Leonard Ellerby Mashinter were Richard Mashinter (born ca 1859 - died 2 October 1950) and Annie Baldock (married in Albion Township; resided Lot 6, Concession 4). Leonard's siblings were Gladys, and Irene.

Father of Richard Masthiner (b. 1859) were Richard (born abt 1829, England - died 8 April 1920, Etobicoke, Ontario; buried at Riverside Cemetery, Weston). His mother was Rachel Hale (born about 1835, Ontario, 28 September 1853, Toronto).
