Walter(?) Noble

Walter(?) Noble was born before 1440, the son of John Noble and Unknown. He died ca 1470 at Great Horningsheath, Suffolk. His Will was proved in 1470. Walter Noble of Horringer & Little Saxham was referred to in a deed in 1468, also Walterus Noble of Hornyggesherth Magna (Horinger) will was proved 1470. The will is difficult to read and relationships are unproven.

To (ii) Ralph Holdernesse, clerk, Henry Noble of Little Saxham, and Thomas Knyght and John Hill, both of Little Saxham. Grant of a piece of land (1a.) in Little Saxham between land of the rectory of Great Saxham W. and land of the rector of Little Saxham E., abutting N. on land late of Thomas Hethe and S. on Bery weye, being land lately held by (i), with other lands, of the feoffment of the said Ralph Holdernesse, son and heir of William Holdernesse, late of Little Saxham, then deceased.
To hold to (ii) and their heirs, of the chief lords. Witnesses: Ralph Toppesfeld, esq; John Fuller; Richard Oversooth; Robert Ilger; John Humfrey.
