Owen O'Connor was born in Co Kerry, Ireland in 1811 and died before 1881 (cf 1881 Census). He married Catherine Hanafin, also born in Co Kerry, Ireland in 1811). In the 1861 Census, Owen and Catherine are both said to be 56, residing in the parish of St. Giles in the Fields. (This would suggest they were born ca 1805 - but, see 1881 Census).

Her birth year is estimated as 1815 which would make her 66. They are still living on Parker Street (#24). This is the Civil Parish of St Giles in the Fields.

Owen and Cathes O'Connor were the parents of Mary Ann Connor, wife of James Kelly (who in turn were the parents of Monica Kelly). Other children of Owen and Cathes were: Patrick (born 1837, St. Giles in the Field, Middlesex Co., England; John (born, St. Giles District, 1839).
