Mary Lillian Almas
Mary Almas, my mother, was born on her parents' farm, on Graham's Lane, Freeman's Corner (now in Burlington, ON). She was the daughter of Ernest Hayes Almas and Ellen May King.
On December 16, 1944, she married Arthur Freeman Barber, born in Guelph Township.
Their children are:
1. Mary Elizabeth (Beth) Barber - married Ronald Harry Anger (divorced). Their children are Timothy and Matthew. Timothy is married to Chrystala and they have a son, Joshua.
2. Laurence James Barber- married Jane Arlene Brock
3. Muriel Anne Barber - married William John Heska. Their children are Beth Anne, David and Ryan.
